When Evo-G told me they would be sending a mouse bungee for review my mind was racing picturing things like how you would strap the little guy in, how high in the air would he be jumping from, and where I am going to get a live mouse. After my little day dream I realized that it was a product to keep your mouse cord from getting tangled with anything else on your desk. How did they know my desk is always a mess? We find ourselves once again taking a look at a gaming mouse pad, well two. Today we look at the C4 NGen 04 and the C4 NGen, both products from C4 Mouseware (a CSHyde company). If you haven’t tried Original Bawls it’s about time you did. Actually it’s crazy that I have to say original, it wasn’t that long that they had one flavor. Noctua is a company known for producing high quality fans and heatsinks for pc’s. I will forgive you if I haven’t heard of them. Frankly they are only known in the states by enthusiasts who are interested in quiet but good flowing fans mostly. They are proud to be from Austria. They have shipped one of their 120mm fans for testing. We are going to see if it will help cool down the beastly quad core and see how it compares to a few other fans with sound. Click to read more

If I were Rob Gordon (John Cusack) in the movie High Fidelity and I was making a top 10 list of things that aggravate me. It would include power strip “warts”. If you don’t know what a wart is, it’s one of those power bricks that you can never find a way to plug into a power strip without losing at least 2 spots. Almost every power strip sold now has their own way of fixing this problem. Most of them have one plug for a “wart”. Me being the gaming dork that I am; in my old school console gaming area I have a Nintendo, a Super Nintendo, a stereo, my TV, our cordless phone, and a battery charger. Of those six devices four of them have power bricks. Not even small bricks, some of them are almost 3 inches long! Obviously a normal 6 plug power strip isn’t going to cut it. Not to mention I would like to keep my old Nintendo for many years to come, I’m going to need a good surge protector. How many products can have a slogan of “No need to go the Back… Do it in the Front!!”? That alone is enough to get my attention, but I’m also a little bit of a perv. Vizo has provided the second iteration of their Master Panel. It’s designed to bring all of your normal usable ports to the front of the case. When it comes to CPU heatsinks there is such a wide variety that it’s hard to even get an idea as to what’s good and what’s bad. A few weeks ago we did a review on the Steel Series I-2 glass mouse pad. Now we are at it again with Razer’s newly released mouse pad, The Destructor. Razer is known for putting out quality products for the gaming community. In order to stay in touch with the gaming community they have been known to hire mostly gamers. They also get very involved in the professional gaming community as you can see HERE. Razer has gone as far as getting involved with Video Games Live recently. So today we are going to find out if being in touch with the gaming community helps product a better product. Over the past few years everyone and their mom has produced a “gaming” mouse pad. Our friends at SteelSeries are all about making anything to help improve your gaming. So it comes as no surprise that they produce gaming mouse pads also. In fact they sell 14 different variations for every type of gamer. They have provided us with a Blue I-2 mouse pad. I’m what some people would call a pack rat. Not in the traditional sense though.I save just about every file that ends up on my computer. I think it comes from being on dial up when I was younger. Why would you delete something that will take another 12 hours to re-download; if no one picks up the phone during that time. I’ve been hording for many years so as you can imagine, I’ve got a lot of junk. Because of this I am running 4 hard drives in my computer. With my case being a small mid tower I’m really hurting for space. That’s where the Luxon Advanced ED comes in; I finally have a way to add another hard drive without hollowing out a 3.5inch slot in my desk. Read on to see what I thought about it…

The Asus G1S series came out around late 06 early 07. Back then it was billed as a " Budget gaming notebook". So how does that claim hold up 1 year later? It seems the term "gaming laptop" has been reserved for only the most über overpowered machines , because this laptop still kicks ass in my opinion. Later on I will give my impressions on how it handles games and the pros and cons of the notebook.

The one thing that has always been consistent with computers, no matter how old; is the battle with heat. Even back when you were plugging code into DOS, your computer was doing what it could to keep from overheating. Because of that there has been a large market for fans, heat sinks, vents, and just about anything else to try to keep the sensitive components of modern day computers cool. Sometimes you need a little more airflow in a case that doesn’t have room for any more conventional fans. This is where VIZO comes in with their Propeller II.
