Built using the renowned Indilinx Barefoot controller and Samsung MLC NAND flash memory, the new Corsair Extreme Series X256 SSD combines high-performance with a massive 256GB of storage space, for enthusiasts who don't want to compromise on speed or capacity. The new Corsair Extreme Series X256 joins the existing models, the X32, X64 and X128, and offers read speeds of up to 240MB/s and write speeds of up to 170MB/s. It also features 64MB of cache memory, ensuring stutter-free performance.

The purpose is simple: offer a universal notebook adapter with widespread compatability with nearly all notebook computers in use today. It's the sort of product that fits in nicely on store shelves at your local electronics store or computer repair shop. "The QNAP TS-439 has a lot of great features going for it. For a 4 drive NAS device which really is a computer optimized for storage purposes, it doesn't have a huge footprint. The black front with gun metal aluminum chassis gives it a very sleek and professional look, definitely meant for the office or a network, tucked away in a network cabinet. Unlike the TS-809 Pro that I reviewed earlier, the TS-439 comes complete with eSATA ports to increase your capacity by an additional 2 drives."

Origen AE has taken their legendary construction quality down to a mini ITX platform with their newest HTPC chassis - the M10. It is made of two thick pieces of aluminum and features an external, passive 150W power brick - two aspects you won't get anywhere else. But is this enough to justify the 400 Euro price tag?

Enthusiasts are no stranger to RAID arrays. While server administrators depend on the redundancy of RAID-1 and other safe multi-drive configurations, performance enthusiasts are willing to risk it all for the promise of twice the normal performance from a striped RAID-0 array. To enjoy the added speed there must be two identical drives to which the data can split and write to each drive in stripes. Solid State Drive products already come at a premium over their hard drive counterparts, and most enthusiasts save up for just one SSD to help launch their computer system into hyper-speed. For the first time, SSDs are available in a twin-pack set, as Benchmark Reviews tests the Corsair P64 RAID PK1 kit. This SSD set includes two Corsair P64 64GB MLC drives, each with the part number CMFSSD-64GBG2D.

When presented with a chassis like Lian Li's PC-B25F, it is very hard not to heap praise on it like a smitten middle school girl. There is, nevertheless, a hell of a lot to recommend this case. It looks good, has a fabulous feature set with many excellent tool-free elements and top shelf cooling. What more do you want?"

"Given the chance to play in a professional environment, I was quite impressed with the Samson C01U USB studio condenser microphone. As a desktop microphone, it is definitely overkill – like using a Peterbilt to go grocery shopping. But give it more demanding tasks, such as audio reproduction, broadcasting, and such, the true power of the C01U can shine through." More from Bigbruin...

"Perhaps the most eye catching feature of the FLC-3000, at least compared to the LOW- 7000, is the 30 degree angle of the heatsink itself, it really looks strange to the eye at first. However, it’s clear that the heatsink is suitable for cases of small dimensions, the size of the fins clearly suggests this and the height of 119mm is not that much compared to other heatsinks in the same category..." "The Arctosa Gaming Keyboard is one of Razer's entry-level enthusiast peripherals to help gamers get into the world of high-end keyboards.  It is a keyboard with many of the advanced features that you expect on a gaming keyboard, but with a price that wont break the bank.  With such features as fully programmable macro keys and anti-ghosting technology, just to name a few. Benchmark Reviews is here to test this keyboard and its many features to discover whether it lives up to the Razer name, or if it is just another regular old keyboard with some fancy logos and shiny buttons on it."

"The Element T certainly brings a different package and look than the Element G. The Element T brings a lot of to the table when it comes to storagenwith six 3.5" bays and one space to mount a SSD drive. There is enough room that worries should be minimal for full size power supplies or larger heatsinks." More from Overclockers Online...

"Without a doubt, the Gigabyte GV-N285OC-2GI is the most powerful graphics card we’ve tested. The results speak for themselves. The card is well made, although we’d still like to see customized cooling. But we felt that the implementation of Ultra Durable VGA made up for not having something better than a reference cooling system..." More from TestSeek.com...

"The V in Kingston's SSDNow V Series 128GB solid state drive stands for value, and that is definitely what it offers when compared to other solid state drives. Checking Newegg.com finds that the desktop kit including this drive is $239.99 with free shipping, making it the cheapest of the twenty six 128GB drives they list, and $25 less than the closest competitor's drive." "Tuniq has presented some very impressive features that rival other leader manufacturers. With extreme performance, alongside being non-electrically conductive, it's hard to refuse such an amazing thermal compound. The only things holding this back from being the perfect thermal compound is it's extremely difficult to spread." More from Overclockers Online...

"Benchmark Reviews has the pleasure of testing NZXT's newest fan control: the Sentry 2 Touchscreen Fan Controller. A step up from the Sentry 1 and a worthy stable mate for the Sentry LX. The Sentry 2 is a different approach to the same problem. A more elegant solution to a problem that has plagued computer enthusiasts since their earliest days; fan noise. With it's touchscreen controls it's a definite step in the right direction above and beyond it's predecessor the Sentry 1, the Sentry 2 is simplicity itself.

Taking up only half the space of the Sentry LX you might think the NZXT Sentry 2 has only half the features or capabilities but you'd be wrong. Gone are the buttons bells and whistles but what's left is the best of the LX with a touchscreen to make those core features even better and easier to use with some added benefits as well."
