"In the ever raging sales battle among memory manufacturers, the Core i7 launch must have been the wind that shook the barley. While everyone was convinced i7 would be the real start of DDR3 technology, it also was a "back to the drawing board" call for most, having to come up with lower voltage memory parts - with decent performance - in a hurry. Four months into the launch now, we present you with a roundup of 8 mid-range kits from 8 different manufacturers. Begun, the new battle has." CLICK HERE for more from Madshrimps Reviews!

"With summer quickly approaching (for all of us northern hemisphere folk at least), your rig is going to need all the cooling it can get without you having to crank up the costly air conditioning (or spend exorbitant amounts of money on cooling solutions). Your video card is going to be hit especially hard if you're planning on heavy gaming, overclocking, and graphical usage, leaving you with a few options - either purchase a more dynamic chassis, throw in some high RPM fans (everyone loves the pleasant roar of a jet engine), fiddle with expensive (and time intensive) water cooling, or merely install an expansion slot based fan. Today we are going to take a look at one such device - the 'Vizo Propeller Dual-Fan Card'." CLICK HERE to read more from Reviewstash.com!

"Since testing computer hardware products is a PC-centric task, I've never wandered very far from what I know. But after writing my editorial Year In Review: 2008 Computer Hardware Industry Failure it seemed wrong not to taste the forbidden fruit... so I purchased a Sony PlayStation 3. Aside from the PS3 system, which quickly received an Editors Choice Award-winning Solid State Drive upgrade, I also purchased nearly two-dozen games and a Blu-ray remote control. I soon discovered that my racing skills were lacking... and I needed an edge. Enter the new-and-improved Thrustmaster Ru! n'N'Drive wireless gamepad, model 4160527. Now unplugged and built around the 2.4 GHz wireless radio band, this PC/PS2/PS3-compatible controller takes the Sony SIXAXIS to the next level and adds an optical wheel and under-belly triggers." "After a few more weeks of gaming and using Photoshop, the MP3 has served me well. Using my current mouse, the Creative Fatal1ty 1010, life was good as I effortlessly moved my mouse across the (nearly) frictionless cloth surface. Also, depending on how polished or dirty your desk surface is depends on how much the mouse pad will slip around. It doesn't move on glass surfaces whatsoever and so to move it you will have to completely pick it up and place it where you want it. Wood surfaces are decent; it will move a little if you give it a nudge, but if you intentionally try to adjust it, it will do so very easily." CLICK HERE to read more from Overclockers Online!

"External storage devices have become extremely popular, USB sticks up to 64gb in size and small 2.5inch laptop drive based external HDDs up to 500gb. Size isn't everything though, today we test three HDD docking stations, from Sunbeamtech, Sharkoon and Thermaltake, which make adding extra HDD space to your PC child's play; these docking stations take any 2.5/3.5inch devices, even SSD." "Lower power consumption and heat output are the least impressive benefits of Solid State Drives. The real payoff is in the practically instant response time and high-performance throughput. Once SSDs could outperform their HDD counterpart, it was all about price and capacity. Adding up to 64MB of Elpida DRAM to the buffer has permanently solved stuttering problems, making raw performance the last bottleneck. An Indilinx 'Barefoot' internal controller commands the bank of Samsung K9HCG08U1M DRAM modules, allowing a single OCZ Vertex SSD to offer impressive capacity with unmatched performance. But what if we put two Vertex SSDs into a striped RAID-0 array? Benchmark Reviews tests the speed and bandwidth of two OCZSSD2-1VTX120G SSDs against!  the fastest storage products on the planet in this OCZ Vertex SSD RAID-0 performance article." The package contained three white 1 liter cans. There was not much info on them, besides Extreme Performance and some technical mumbo jumbo concerning the mixture of the cooling fluid. "While all those benchmark charts displaying 200+mb/s read and 150+mb/s write are impressive to see, it's also good to actually have some idea of what that extra performance brings you in real life. We prepared two identical laptops with Windows 7 and Windows XP, one had a conventional HDD, the other a brand new OCZ Vertex SSD. The result is worth checking out." "Most hard drive enclosures look like just that, hard drive enclosures. InWin took quite a different approach with the ‘NA and what they have is a hard drive enclosure that brings some style to enclosures. The ceramic plate obviously sets it apart and can act as a place to set your keys (who hasn’t misplaced their keys before?) or other items like USB flash drives."
